Members of Good Shepherd enjoy a liturgical style of worship. At each service we gather to hear God's word, share the Meal of Christ, and are sent back into the communities from which we have come to serve our Lord. Both contemporary and traditional music is used in our worship. It is both formal and yet relaxed in presentation. While other worship materials are employed, our primary worship resource is EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN WORSHIP.

Members of the congregation help lead the worship. They welcome people to worship, carry the cross to its place, light the candles, read the lessons, sing or play in the choir, compose and read the prayers, and give communion to the people.

Our services always include two or three readings from the Bible. The pastor's sermon and children's sermon provide us with messages that connect the Biblical story with our lives.

We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion each Sunday at both services. On the fourth Sunday of each month we have a healing service. The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is celebrated on designated Sundays throughout the year.

During Lent, Holy Week, Easter, and Christmas we provide additional worship opportunities.
